“The time is always right to do what is right.”
In partnership with the Center for Civil and Human Rights, weloveatl premiered their project “The Time is Right” last night to a full house. The film focused on the lives of various Atlantans who were willing to put in their own blood, sweat, and tears to fight injustice either locally or globally. In addition to the short, a photography exhibit featuring the cast of will be available for viewing as well. We at Moonshine Post are thankful to have been a part of the project and hope you are able to check it out.

About the documentary (from weloveatl):
“The weloveatl project in partnership with the Center for Civil and Human Rights is creating a collection of images & stories highlighting everyday Atlantans who have stood up to fight injustice. We will feature these stories in a variety of events and presentations this year – culminating in an exhibition and a large scale projection on the Center for Civil and Human Rights building this October.
The Center’s galleries showcase heroes who put their lives on the line in pursuit of justice. Conversely, their team witnesses hundreds of beautiful and difficult stories told by visitors who put in their own blood, sweat and tears to power local and global movements. The Time is Right builds a platform for these stories.
Martin Luther King, Jr. said “The time is always right to do what is right” and our project, in partnership with the CCHR, seeks to celebrate Atlanta’s citizens who have answered that call to action. This is an opportunity for Atlantans to bring forward the people who inspire them. The Center hopes that these stories spark a renewed understanding that anytime is the right time to do what is right.”
