When Viva first tested Viva Vantage with consumers, they found that more people preferred it to Bounty—a huge claim for an up and coming brand. So for the product’s launch, they created target ads to sway fans of Bounty to convert over to Viva. Initially, the brand ambushed a handful of people who had professed their love for Bounty on social media and tried to get them to switch. However, rather than trying to get a single consumer to switch over, Vivaa attempted to convince a very aptly named neighborhood.
