Crafty Apes VFX & Moonshine Post have formed an alliance to become the Georgia’s go-to source for all things post-production. Both studios will be featured during the Atlanta Film Festival, which starts this Friday, April 13-Sunday, April 22. Check out some of the events that we will be feature in at the ATLFF below:
Screenings:
- Summer ‘03 — Premiered at SXSW in March 2018 as a debut, comedy-feature film by writer-director Becca Gleason, the “Summer ‘03” plot revolves around Jamie (Joey King), whose grandmother, on her deathbed, leaves her with two distinct pieces of information that set Jamie and her family on an emotional roller coaster ride — all while she falls for the wrong guy at the wrong time.
- Man Made — By Director T Cooper, fthe film ocuses on the world’s only all-transgender bodybuilding competition where four male bodybuilders take the stage. What precedes this triumphant moment are a set of personal and diversely challenging journeys taken on the path to self-identity and empowerment. Told through the intimate and honest lens of a trans filmmaker, this documentary intertwines the nuances of manhood, the drive for social justice, and the competitive desire to forge our own paths while striving for our own, personal best.

GEORGIA DEVELOPMENT OR BUST — The capstone of the Creator Track, the “Development or Bust” think tank session will address what Georgia needs to foster a self-sustained, entertainment ecosystem. Then a hard-hitting discussion between panelists and audience will delve into how Atlanta can create a ScreenCraft Writers Summit Schedule as of April 1, 2018 standalone entertainment industry.
