MAKING OF "SIGNING DAY" MOVIE

“Signing Day” is an exhilarating tale that follows a young college football coach sent to rural Alabama with one mission: to sign the nation’s top high school defensive end. The story captures the passion, challenges, and triumphs of the recruitment process, bringing the high stakes and intense emotions of college football to life.

“Comedy and drama vie for dominance in Signing Day. You’ll be laughing along with its cast of eccentric and lovable characters before it tackles you to the ground with moments of genuine heart,” said Patrick.

True to his meticulous approach, Patrick brought his refined skills to “Signing Day,” including his use of templates from the start, which he employs for every project, whether it’s a feature film or a thirty-second commercial. He starts with a template sequence and expands it as necessary.

“I like consistency,” said Patrick.

When it comes to “Signing Day,” there are many moments in the film Patrick is proud of.

“I’ll choose a moment with the character, Ronnie, who is a consistent source of comedic relief. There’s a moment where he’s struggling to start his motorcycle after attempting to threaten the protagonist. We tried to draw this moment out as long as we could, and it’s a good example of how you can use editing to create jokes. It was very fun and we – myself, along with Assistant Editor, Michael Cheeves, and Director, Glen Owen – were laughing when we hit that moment,” said Patrick.

Moonshiners are in the bandstands with orange and teal face paint, absolutely dedicated to cheering on the distribution of this exciting feature! Perry’s dedication and skill have not only crafted a compelling narrative but also demonstrated the power of Adobe’s creative solutions in modern filmmaking.
Stay tuned for “Signing Day” – it’s a touchdown in the world of cinematic storytelling!
