The Prancing Elites Project

The Prancing Elites Project follows the lives of the Prancing Elites– a dance troupe based in Mobile, Alabama consisting of five members who all identify as gay or gender non-conforming. Because of this, the Prancing Elites are frequently banned from competitions and parades and must find other outlets to showcase their talents including performing at football games or dancing on cruises. With family disapproval, health crises and heartbreak, the Elites have to overcome many hurdles before they are able to truly fulfill their dreams of becoming famous outside of Mobile, Alabama.
